Small Group Training with Rich Limpert
Rich Limpert, MAC Director, East Ridge Girls Head Coach and recent inductee to the inaugural MN Lacrosse Hall of Fame Class, is offering small group skills training for boys and girls at ES Lacrosse in Woodbury. These sessions are development focused and open to all field positions, including beginners who want to build a strong foundation and experienced players looking to sharpen their game.
Each training will emphasize:
- Fundamental stick skills: passing, catching, ground balls, and stick protection
- Dodging and footwork to create space and beat defenders
- Shooting mechanics and finishing from multiple spots on the field
- Lacrosse IQ: spacing, decision making, and game situations
- Position specific skills for offense, defense, and midfield
Players will be grouped by age to ensure appropriate pace and teaching level:
- 10U and 12U Boys + Girls
- 14U and High School Boys + Girls
With small group sizes - limit of 10 per session - and direct coaching from Rich, athletes will get plenty of reps, clear instruction, and immediate feedback to help build confidence, improve technique, and translate skills directly to game play.
